How it works.

Bringing home an Ibizan Hound is a long-term partnership. Here's what to expect, from first inquiry to homecoming.

L-Wynd Ibizans is an AKC Breeder of Merit and a member of the Good Dog Responsible Breeding Program.

From inquiry to homecoming

What to expect

  1. Apply

    [Send the application form. We read every word. Plan for a 1–2 week response time as we consider fit carefully.]

  2. Conversation

    [A phone or video call. We want to know you, your home, your dog history, and what you're hoping for in an Ibizan.]

  3. Reservation

    [If we're a fit, you'll be added to the wait list for an upcoming litter. A reservation deposit holds your place.]

  4. Whelp & updates

    [Once puppies arrive, we share updates, photos, and personality observations through the early weeks.]

  5. Matching

    [We match puppies to homes around 6–7 weeks, based on temperament — not first-come-first-served.]

  6. Pickup

    [Puppies go home at 8–10 weeks with health records, microchip registration, food samples, and a starter packet. We prefer in-person pickup; transport options can be discussed.]

  7. Lifetime support

    [We're available for the life of the dog — questions, training, health concerns. If circumstances ever change, the dog comes back to us, period.]

Placement criteria

What we look for in a home.

[200–400 words on what makes a good home for an Ibizan. Yard / containment requirements, exercise commitment, family situation, experience level, willingness to title or work the dog if relevant. Be honest — this filters self-selects out the wrong fits.]
