Chapter One
2002–2007
It started with a chance meeting on the Fayetteville Square in 2002 — the breed found us. In April 2003, Lwynd joined the family and became the foundation of everything that followed. Shown in conformation at 9 months and on the lure coursing field shortly after, she opened the door to a life in dogs.
- Foundation female: Lwynd — BIF DC Unigus She’s Like The Wynd SC
- First litter: May 2007 — Lwynd × Crusader (Mother’s Day Litter)
-
Chapter Two
2008–2014
The Lwynd × Crusader pairing produced Amazon — GCH L-Wynds Mother of Rivers SC — a defining female of the early program. From there, Lwynd × Cliff (2009) and Amazon × Remi (2011) extended the line, and the next generation began to ripen with Juicy, Flutter, and Breaker carrying the bloodlines forward.
- Key dogs of the era: Crusader, Amazon, Juicy, Flutter, Breaker
- Defining achievement: Amazon’s Grand Championship and Senior Courser title
-
Chapter Three
2015–2022
A maturing program, with breedings chosen carefully and partnerships across the breed strengthening the lines. Flutter × Breaker, Juicy × Deuce, Possum × Keeper, and the Sy × Nevaeh “Hippie Litter” in 2017 each added depth. Nevaeh became a centerpiece of this era, and Willa stepped into her role as a producing female.
- Key dogs of the era: Flutter, Nevaeh, Willa, Poppet, Breaker
- Defining achievement: Breaker’s Dual Championship and Best In Futurity
-
Chapter Four
2023–present
Today the program centers on Misha — a leading male whose record now spans Owner-Handled BIS and BOS at the AKC National — alongside Umbra, Ailani, Shaka, and the newest addition, Thorn. The Willa × Riptide litter of 2024 marks the most recent generation joining the line.
